Libero   Overview


The New Yamaha Libero G5 comes equipped with various striking features like 13 liters of newly introduced techno graphics large fuel tank with side covers, fuel gauge, etc. Its excellent body lining with new graphics cover tail and new stylish air scoops is catching the eyes of many finicky bikers. Yamaha Libero is power packed with 106cc engine similar to its predecessor Yamaha Libero G5 and Crux and it can generate a power of 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and at high torque it provides 7.85Nm at 6000 rpm. Yamaha Libero 106 is the latest gem unveiled by the Yamaha Motors, India which has been incorporated with avant-garde technological inputs. Features beneficial in imparting these qualities to the bike are its brawny muscled tank, well-built side and rear panel. Economic & demanding low maintenance, it offers optimum comfort to the rider.

Mileage, Average and Fuel Economy



Yamaha Libero is available in single variant only. Yamaha Libero which is powered by 149.1, 4-stroke, air-cooled petrol engine with five speed manual transmission gearbox and offers mileage of approx 55 KMPL.


Power


Yamaha Libero comes loaded with a 106cc powertrain which is configured with 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder, OHC. This fine engine good enough to churn out a top power of 13.3 bhp at 8,000 rpm and pumps out a peak torque of 12.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm. In order to make sure maximum power uses, it is incorporated with 5 speed manual gearbox.


Appearance


Yamaha Libero G5 is a sleek and sophisticated bike loaded with style and power. The bike is all set for future with its largest suspension system, front drum brakes, techno graphics and many more. The contemporary design coupled with power packed features make Yamaha G5 an ideal pick for busy executives of contemporary times. Spoke is the perfect blend of beauty and performance. Every part of the bike is placed in a manner to look perfect whether it is side panel, seat, tail lamp, headlamp, rear mirror or silencer. In other words, this is the perfect looking bike. The headlamp is v-shaped. This shape is felt all around the bike from front to rear. Well furnished cowl is there on headlamp. New shape indicators are beauty stuff in the female. Coming to the console, it incorporated fuel gauge and speedometer in analogue format. Stylish and eye-catching graphics are there at side panels and fuel tank. The emblem of the company is placed at tank. The tank is designed to give required comfort for the rider's knee.


Engine Capacity and Performance


The 106 cc engine of Yamaha Libero delivers an impressive power of 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and at high torque it provides 7.85Nm at 6000 rpm. Yamaha Libero is packed with very powerful engine. The 4 stroke engine of Yamaha Libero is endowed with 5 Speed Transmission which ensures smoother and easier shifting of gears and also helps in minimizing the vibrations and noise at high speed.


Wheels


All variants of Yamaha Libero comes fitted with standard wheels and tyres, both the rims of the tyres are 18 inch long. There is a welcoming change in Yamaha Libero that is rear tuff-up tube which instills confidence in you as it reduces chances of puncture remarkably.


Braking and Handling


Yamaha Libero is loaded with latest brakes to provide effective braking when required. The Yamaha Libero sports front 240mm disc brakes non-asbestos type while the rear brake is internal expanding shoe type (130mm) non-asbestos type as well. It is to be informed that a lot of braking is done on the front brake thereby the company added disc brake at front only.


Handling and Safety


Yamaha Auto uses advanced technology to make Yamaha Libero very comfortable bike to offer an easier handling and control. Yamaha Libero is loaded with standard braking system but good enough for instant halting. The bike has both side 130mm drum brakes that leave no stone unturned to give you best results. However you are advised to use both brakes at the same to avoid any tragic accident. In other words, best performance can be achieved after using both brakes at the same time. The large wheelbase and big sized tyres of Yamaha Libero give greater stability and control on road.
